Energy Saving Renewables
“Change is destructive and unsympathetic”
Global Warming is a reality that we must all now face and legislation drives the increased use of sustainable energy making the need for energy efficient homes, with minimum CO2 emissions even greater.
Global warming is linked to carbon emission generation and as a result the UK Government has determined that this country will play a major part in helping to reduce emissions.
The Government has introduced long term goals to reduce the UK s emissions by 80% from 1990 to 2050.
To reduce emissions we must reduce “CARBON” generated and produced in order to reduce its footprint.
In our homes 47% of carbon emissions is produced from our heating and 27% produced form our hot water.
- There are still some 3.5 million homes in the UK with type G efficiency heating products A being the most efficient.
- 70% of homes do not have a full set of heating controls
- Still 16.4 million homes with non condensing boilers
You can help reduce the UK emissions and also reduce your heating bills by installing renewable energy saving heating products such as
- Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Solar thermal hot water roof panels.
- Solar Photo voltaic electrical roof panels.
There are also new incentives being added by the government to help home owners deal with the costs associated with these installations .
- RHI ( renewable heat incentive )
- FIT ( feed in tariffs)
- Green deal . ( due out autumn 2012)
The Green deal will see a 14 billion pound investment into energy saving products that will see the biggest changes to homes since the end of the second world war.
Anyone can apply for a green deal from the government which will see home owners get free installation of heating ,hot water , loft insulation and draught proofing that will be paid for by the savings generated by installing energy saving products.
Frank Webb will be a accredited green deal installer through the Gas safe register and the MCS scheme.
